What Forms of Communication Do You Use?

What do you think of when I say Communication? Communication can be delivered in many different ways such as Blogging, of course, E-mail, IM, Text Messaging, and then you have your more professional avenues, one being E-Newsletters. E-Newsletters allow people to give you small amounts of information in a professional but fun way. I am a fan of E-Newsletters, it's the best visual way to get people to notice you, your interest or a company. Another form of Communication can be your Cover Letter or your Resume. A Cover letter or Resume communicates a lot of information about you and it allows companies to be able see who you are professionally. Sometimes people don't take Cover Letters or Resumes as seriously as they should. I don't think you realize that it determines your future....I thought my Resume was great until I was shown a "Really Great" Resume and then I was put to shame....but a lesson learned for me. So going forward, I'm paying close attention to the way I create professional forms of communication such as my Resume.
